This box is an orientation summary; the full text below is what governs.
This Privacy Policy describes how Limini ("Limini", "we") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit our website limini.us and when you use our mobile applications published on the Apple App Store and Google Play (together, the "Services"). By using the Services you accept the practices described here.
1. Who we are
Limini is responsible for processing your personal data. We operate from offices at Providencia 1881, Santiago, Chile, and 800 Westchester Ave, Ste 641N, Rye Brook, NY 10573, United States. For any privacy question, write to privacy@limini.us.
2. Data we collect
We collect only the data needed to provide and improve the Services:
- Data you give us directly: name, email address, phone number, company, and the content of messages you send through forms or email.
- Account data (in apps that require it): access credentials, user identifier and preferences.
- Usage and device data: device type, operating system, app version, technical identifiers, language, and event and error logs.
- Diagnostic data: crash reports and performance metrics used to keep the service stable.
We do not request sensitive data or special categories of data unless it is strictly necessary for a feature you have enabled, and we tell you beforehand.
Cookies: this website uses no tracking or advertising cookies and embeds no third-party trackers. Our mobile applications may store technical data on the device (for example, your signed-in session) strictly necessary for them to function.
3. How we use it
- To provide, maintain and improve the Services and their features.
- To answer your enquiries and provide support.
- To ensure security, prevent fraud and abuse, and debug errors.
- To comply with legal and contractual obligations.
- To send operational communications about the service. We do not send marketing without your consent.
4. Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of your consent, the performance of a contract or the provision of the service you request, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the Services. In Chile, processing is governed by Law No. 19.628 on the protection of private life and by Law No. 21.719, which establishes the new personal data protection framework and creates the Personal Data Protection Agency. In the United States, we apply the requirements of applicable state privacy laws to residents of those states.
5. Who we share with
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:
- Service providers acting on our behalf (hosting, database, analytics, email, notifications), under confidentiality obligations.
- Authorities where there is a legal obligation or a valid order.
- Third parties in the event of a corporate reorganization, always subject to this policy.
6. Third-party services
Our apps may use third-party services that process data under their own policies, including cloud infrastructure platforms (for example Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud), database and authentication providers, error monitoring and product analytics tools, and the app store services themselves (Apple App Store and Google Play). We recommend reviewing Apple's and Google's privacy policies regarding app distribution.
7. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described or as required by law. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it securely. Timelines applicable to account deletion are set out on the data deletion page.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may exercise the rights of access, rectification, cancellation (deletion), objection and portability of your data, and withdraw your consent at any time. Depending on your state of residence in the United States, you may also have the right to know what data we hold, to request deletion, and to opt out of certain disclosures. We do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To exercise them, write to privacy@limini.us. We respond within the applicable legal timeframes.
9. Account and data deletion
You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time. See the detailed procedure, what is deleted, what is retained and the timelines on our Data Deletion page.
10. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data: encryption in transit (HTTPS), access control, least privilege, and secure development practices. No system is completely infallible, but we work to minimize risk.
11. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us so we can delete it.
12. International transfers
Because we operate in Chile and the United States, your data may be processed in either country and by providers located elsewhere. In those cases we adopt appropriate safeguards to protect your information in line with applicable law.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal changes or changes to our Services. We publish the current version on this page and state the date it was last updated. Material changes are communicated through appropriate channels.
